"Yeah...so that recording is absolute shite dipped in fisheggs compared to actually being there. It was AMAZING. Their stage presence is ENORMOUS. I was right at the front too and I could hear things Damon was yelling at Paul. Like before they prolonged Nature Springs, Damon goes "Shite, they really love this one." The crowd was incredible too. You could see how pleased Damon was from the very beginning when we all started singing the "lala" part near the end of History Song. I love how he ended the show too...he counted to four (we counted with him) and the whole Mr Whippy jam just stopped. ...and before the show there were even some incredible moments. I saw Damon standing on the tiny VIP balcony staring down at the crowd. We caught eyes and had a ten second stare-down (I was making sure it was him, I was the only one who really noticed his shadowy figure). Then I waved and said "Hey Damon" and he tipped his beer and walked back in. Excellent! A 13 seconds I'll remember forever. Also, the opening band was a local comedy Burlesque show which definately set the mood....to have sex. But really a fantastic concert. They even managed to kick the Flaming Lips show right in its booteh. "
